WEEE Take Back System 

          Advantages of adhering to the CCR WEEE take back system:

  • Taking over the entire responsibility regarding reaching the annual objectives of collecting, reusing, recycling and recovery of the WEEE, including annually reporting the data to NEPA
  • Independent system (CCR is not founded by manufacturers/ importers of electrical and electronic equipment - EEE) thus guaranteeing equidistance from all the system manufacturers;
  • License for all the EEE categories, including lighting equipment (according to G.D. no. 1037/2010);
  • Safety and confidentiality of data by means of the online CCR NET system; no other manufacturer/ importer of EEE has access to the company information;
  • Guaranteeing reaching the collecting/ recycling quota; 
  • Free-of-charge legal counselling in the field of environmental protection for CCR members;
  • Minimum costs totally covered by the green stamp.

Orange Romania SA and collective organization CCR Logistics Systems RO SRL have signed the liability transfer agreement for collecting WEEE recovery and recycling, providing waste management system for mobile phones marketed by one of the largest mobile phone company in Romania .

For recycling, the collected mobile phones waste, were shipped to GreenWEEE Buzau, the largest integrated waste treatment plant of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) in Romania and one of the most modern in Europe. The first transport has already been done by our partners in early June 2011

Campaign
"Innocence Ecology"


During 22.11.2010 - 16.12.2011 CCR Logistics Systems RO, ECORC RECYCLING and school Inspectorate Suceava, campaigned for education of young students in Suceava, "Innocence Ecology." Action goal was to educate students that participate in the campaign, meaning selective collection, and awareness of the importance of collecting EEE waste. We manage to colect a quantity of 8409 kg of WEEE. CCR Logistics Systems RO offered prizes (books, pens, computer games) for all children participate in the campaign. Also at the end, CCR Logistics Systems RO, offered an additional one-day trip for 25 students, which brought the most waste and three accompanying teachers. The route of the trip: Suceava-Iasi-Falticeni and back, where they visited Creanga's Hut, Copou Park, Botanical Garden, the Palace of Culture, with lunch break at a restaurant in Iasi. In addition, a foto camera was given to the coordinator school teacher who collected the most waste. Organized action by CCR Logistics Systems RO and ECOREC RECYCLING we consider it a success , through the enthusiasm of children to engage in collection action, the quantities of waste and the joy of the children from the trip.

Given the success of the campaign, CCR aims to increase similar actions and other counties.
